The “No Fear” Gentle Chiropractic Adjustment
The ProAdjuster virtually puts all the fears of manual treatment to rest. If you are afraid of the typical “crack” or “pop” sound associated with a well performed chiropractic manual adjustment, then the ProAdjuster instrument is for you.
What is the ProAdjuster Instrument?
The ProAdjuster is a computer-based, chiropractic adjusting instrument that gently percusses the tissue area being tested, giving the practitioner vital information about the motion dynamics and resonant frequency of the spinal joint or surrounding soft tissue. The ProAdjuster instrument measures the stiffness of the tissue or joint by applying a light mechanical force in the form of a percussion wave and oscillating frequency; a signal is then reflected back to the instrument, which then measures the spine and tissue response, sending it to the computer for interpretation, all before the muscle can respond. The process occurs so fast that it reduces the normal defense mechanism or guarding response, caused by typical palpation.
The ProAdjuster is very comfortable for patients of all ages due to the fact that there is no application of manual rotation or thrusting forces. Due to this, it greatly reduces any issues associated with osteoporosis, vertebral artery conditions or other concerns that more aggressive techniques might not address, and why it is the preferred method of manipulation by medical doctors.
Dr. Frank Giampietro and Dr. Andrew Calderone are the first certified ProAdjuster providers in Stuart, Florida and the first to bring this amazing technology to the area.
